An escape for all seasons, Cedar Holiday Units, Bright are the perfect home away from home in any season for families, sporting groups, friends and couples seeking the natural beauty and adventure of the high country.
In Spring, the cool climate gardens burst into colour and fragrance. The Bright Spring Festival is a popular event. Enjoy the rail and mountain bike trails, the last of the Winter snow, hikes and river walks.
Summer is the time for a gourmet picnic of freshly picked berries, cheeses and wines from local producers. Children can enjoy the water park and water slide on the Ovens River. Adults can enjoy the many wineries, breweries, cafes and restaurants. Long, hot days, shady rivers and cool evening breezes are the perfect conditions for al fresco dining and BBQing.
Bright is famous for its Autumn colour. Enjoy the beautiful sunny days, crisp, clear nights and blaze of Autumn leaves. The Bright Autumn Festival is a highlight of the season.
Chilly days, brooding skies, open fires in cosy pubs and beautiful snow. Enjoy your choice of ski resorts. Hire your gear in town and head out for a day’s fun.

Cedar Holiday Units are a great place to stay and are located in a quiet secluded setting but still only a 5 minute stroll to the town centre.

There are 7 spacious units in total, one 3 bedroom unit, four 2 bedroom units and two 1 bedroom units. The units can be booked individually or multiple units can be booked to cater for groups. These configurations provide flexibility for families, friends sharing and can also accommodate groups. All the units are comfortable and well appointed. The three bedroom unit can sleep up to eight people, the two bedroom units can sleep up to seven people and the one bedroom units can sleep up to four people.
Cedar Holiday Units sit within a beautiful lush garden, perfect for a quiet coffee or glass of wine after a busy day enjoying the high country. Enjoy a BBQ by the creek in our alfresco dining hut or relax in our heated outdoor spa. All units have off-road parking and offer complimentary Wifi.

Cedar Holiday Units are self-catering and have well equipped kitchens. Each unit has quiet reverse cycle air conditioning and heating for year round comfort and private verandah for enjoying the garden. Beds are fitted with electric blankets and doonas. Linen, towels and environmentally sound bathroom toiletries are supplied for your comfort. There is also a communal guest laundry.

Have Fun
Fancy something a bit more active? Bright is an excellent location for cycling with options ranging from a gentle trip along the rail trail to one of the local wineries to long road cycles up and down the local mountains to all levels of mountain biking.
There are also plenty of bush walking options nearby including at Mt Buffalo as well as skiing and snowboarding at the ski resorts of Mt Hotham and Falls Creek.

Please note - Units 1-5 are two storey and have a spiral staircase with a widely spaced banister that may not be suitable for young children. Children should be supervised around stairs and the creek.
